Dear Miss Addams:-
In response to your letter of the 12th we sent the copies of "The Newer Ideals of Peace" as requested to you at Chicago last night and the other two which you asked us to send to Senator LaFollette and Mr. Garfield went forward [today]. We telegraphed you yesterday to say that we were forwarding copies as above and we trust that you have already received our telegram and that your anxiety in regard to the matter was thereby relieved.
