QUESTIONNAIRE

In consequence of the wishes expressed above, I should be grateful if you would inform me what your Association has done during this year with regard to the following matters:

1 -- In order to obtain your Country's adhesion to the Geneva Conventions with regard to the Traffic, if it has not already adhered?

2 -- What are the measures which you have recommended concerning the protection of women and more specially children engaged in music-halls & similar establishments, in your own as well as in other countries?

3 -- Under what conditions are girls under 18 allowed to expatriate with a work contract, has your Association [endeavored] to protect them?

4 -- What measures have been urged by your Association with regard to souteneurs & proxenetes, indigenous or foreign, and what actions would you wish to apply to persons living by the prostitution of others?

5 -- What has your Association done in order to secure the suppression of Licensed Houses in those countries where State Regulation of Prostitution has not yet been abolished?

6 -- What is, according to you, the influence of law [ages] on prostitution?

7 -- What measures have been urged by your Association for the suppression of immoral publications? Have you [endeavored] to obtain from your Government the enforcement of [page 2] existing penalties or their [reinforcement]?

The question of the employment of Women Police and that of the Legal age of marriage having been thoroughly studied last year, and the result of the enquiry undertaken by the feminine Associations having already been submitted to the Advisory Commission, we do not dwell on them [today], being content to uphold the point of view of our Associations.
