Dear Miss [Addams],
The Advisory Commission for the repression of the Traffic in Women and Children at the League of Nations being about to meet at Geneva at the beginning of March 1928, I should be grateful if you would let me know which questions seem to you most urgent to be put on the agenda of that meeting, besides those which are already on it. I need not remind you that any suggestions you may bring forward must bear directly upon the question of the suppression of the Traffic.
May I be allowed to draw your attention to the documents accompanying this letter; you will find there a summary of the principal resolutions [page 2] passed by the Advisory Commission, and a questionnaire to which I beg you to answer as precisely as possible.
It is of the utmost importance that the interest with which women follow the work of the Advisory Commission and the desire they have of facilitating its work, be felt at the League of Nations.
I would be most grateful, dear Madam, if you could let me have your reply in time for it to appear in the printed report which will be sent to the adhering countries by the Geneva office, as early as the beginning of February.
