My dear J. Lathrop

I am sending you a letter with clippings [etc.] that I received from Mr Mills last evening. Of course we can't have girls thus connected.

Mr Mills was told that we couldn't possibly have Mr Cooney next year but I weakly [said that] [page 2] he might have him help out at the camp because he knows these boys [etc.?] It was evidently a mistake, Mr Cooney has no sense of propriety but I thought Mr Mills would have. I won't answer the letter until I hear from Mr Twose. Please keep the camp photographs & clippings. I shall not want them here. [page 3]

John Linn, Ethel and Winthrop came today and we have quite a household.

With love to H.H.

Always affectionately yours

Jane Addams
