My dear Marcet --
The Congress is quite over and a great success it was! The hospitality of the Irish was unbounded literally from "cottage to castle" and we left Dublin with real regret. We were obliged to walk softly between the various political parties but came away without any difficulties.
We are now in this south west coast of this most beautiful island getting rested before we take to the road en route to Geneva.
Please give my love to the family & the post cards to the younger members of it. I think of you often and always with tender affection. Always yrs

P.S. We left Mary Linn with her two daughters in Paris, also Mary Hulbert, all in good spirits. Mrs Lovett is with us here.
