Dear J. Lathrop
It will be fine to have you take Mr Le Moyne's flat only I hope that you will keep your own room too. The flat ↑or rather sitting room↓ was to be repapered and the bathroom to have a coat of paint. Won't you select the paper & colors & also swipe whatever furniture you like from the other ↑men's↓ rooms.
Isn't it fine about Judge Pinckney -- you have been a perfect wizard since [page 2] you came [through] in getting the Juvenile Court straightened out.
Have Mrs Kohn and the other [illegible] [into?] Saugatuck for Fresh air children. It is always very popular, more so than Gad's Hill.
Please excuse this scribbled note, I am just getting ready for Mary O'Sullivan & her three children. With love to you & to H.H. always yrs
J. A.
