George Platt Brett Sr. to Jane Addams, September 10, 1906

Sept. 10, 1906

Dear Miss Addams:--

Pray do me the favor of taking your own time in regard to the matter of the dispatch of your manuscript to us. I gather from your letter that you would like Professor Ely to look it through before it is sent on to us, and I am glad to leave the matter for decision entirely with yourself.

Permit me to add that we congratulate ourselves on knowing the work to be finished, and shall hope that it may be in our hands for successful publication at no distant day.

I am

Yours very truly,

Miss Jane Addams
