I am sending two books, "The Precipice" because it has a lot in it about H. H. and the Children's Bureau and another that Clara Young gave me, which is quite a pretty story.
Miss Bowen has developed such an [irritable?] bowel that she has given up Birmingham [page 2] and gone back to Chicago [tonight] with her maid. I am going to Birmingham, Atlanta and all the rest of them.
