Mr. Kissan
Rev. Pringle
Hungary: Miss Sarolta de Lukács
Italy: Prof. Santoliquido
Japan: Mr. Kawai

From many others I have hitherto no answer, which is evidently due to the holiday season.

Miss Curtis has written that she is unable to come. I communicate to her, as Chairman of the Committee appointed by the National Conference of Social Work, your suggestion regarding the advisability of inviting Miss Edith Abbott and foundations situated outside New York. I do not think I can do better [than] ask her to decide and eventually take action in this matter.

With kindest wishes and regards I remain, my dear Miss Addams,

Yours faithfully,

Dr. René Sand [signed]
Dr. René Sand
Secretary General.
