I am very grateful for the kind letters from you and Myra and meant long ago to write you about Jane's wedding.
The church was very prettily decorated with flowers (pink roses mostly) and with two very beautiful candelabras. Weber marching up with his daughter on his arm was [page 2] a very dignified and impressive figure. Bips of course was maid of honor and the groom's brother took care of him. They were a very impressive [quartet] surrounded by ushers and bridesmaids. The "family" pew contained the brides mother & father, her Aunt Jane, Louise & Esther & Mary Smith. The reception was very crowded and successful! [page 3]
The Honolulu Conference is from Aug 9th to 19th and we will of course come west a little earlier than that. I hope to get out a little circular this week and will send one to you.
I am grateful for what you wrote me about Miss Campbell and I will hope to see her next summer.
I was ill for [four] days with "flu" but am quite all right again. Mary Smith has gone to Colorado to visit her brother for a few weeks so Eleanor & I am keeping house, [although] of course I am at H. H. daily.
With all my love to the family, I am always your devoted Aunt Jane.
