Dearest Lady:

This business of entertaining foreigners is apparently still going on. Do you want to offer hospitality to the Countess or better still, could you negotiate the matter with someone. I told Mr. Maude we would write him later as to what could be done for New York.

In the three days I have been home I am slowly getting acclimated to snow and visits. May I thank you once more for your great kindness. It was such a nice way to go to the Survey meeting which I very much enjoyed.

Always devotedly yours,
Jane Addams [signed]
