My dear Myra
I tried to write to you all the time we were in Mexico but I never achieved it -- so that this late day I am sending you a few postal cards that we may have some idea of its beauty and charm.
Mary Smith and I left Chicago the last day of Feby and had the [entire] [page 2] month of April there. We left the 4th and are staying here for a week while Mary visits her brother and I recover from a throat infection which I contracted at the very end of the travel.
We enjoyed it all very much -- it is quite like South France or [North] Italy in its buildings with some beautiful scenery and a very interesting government. [page 3] Mary sends her love to the entire family as does the loving Aunt Jane.
