Dear Miss Addams,
I thank you many times for a copy of your new book "Twenty Years at Hull House." It is doubly precious for the inscriptions on the fly leaf. And how well Miss Hamilton has done the illustrating. I think you must be quite satisfied with the book's general appearance. As we read it in its entirety we marvel at the weight [page 2] of your experiences and the extent of your work. It makes me feel very humble.
