A NEW PEACE.
WOMEN'S CONFERENCE [ORGANIZED] BY THE WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR PEACE AND FREEDOM.
Dec 13" 1922
My dear Mr Hudson
I don't know why I make you a sort of Father-Confessor in this matter of our Congress, save that I hate to go against your judgment in international matters. We have however come out very well I think -- I am sending you the resolutions as passed and the program as it was actually carried out. The Trades Union Congress is quite [inspiring], I am sending you a copy of Count Kessler's speech as a sample.
Three of us (English French U.S.A.) are going on to Sweden [tomorrow], we have an appointment with Branting and then go to Norway, then [on to] G. Britain. I hope it doesn't all seem too silly to you -- in [illegible] & other [hard heads do?] approve -- Hastily yrs Jane Addams
