Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Ill.

My dear Miss Addams: --

Having been given charge of the preparation of the report of the International Council for publication in book form, I am now gathering together the manuscript of the various addresses. Will you kindly send me, at your convenience, a copy of your address as you would like to have it appear in the published volume? We also expect to have the portraits of all the speakers of the Council. Could you send me a photograph of yourself for this purpose? It will be returned to you after the engraving is made if you desire it.

With best wishes, I am

Yours sincerely,

Truman J Spencer [signed]
