My dear Stanley
I have just come back from Washington where our plans have all been completed for our Congress. I am [enclosing] a copy of a letter which explains the situation. I am very anxious not to have the fact made public that we are going but some of us expect to start April 9" going to Switzerland via Havre France.
I haven't heard from you for about a week and I hope that it means that Myra is doing well and that the immediate difficulty is over. [page 2] I am going to send $100.00 for the hospital [etc] and I am sure you know that it bears my best love and congratulations.
I do not leave H. H. until April 6" and I shall hope to hear from you long before then ↑as↑ to how the entire family is coming on. Please give my love to Myra and Jane. I am always your devoted aunt
Jane Addams
P.S. I hope Esther will write you of the unveiling of a tablet to John's memory in his old church at Mishawaka last Sunday.
