Denver, Colorado, May 28th, 1906.
Dear Miss Addams:--
I take great pleasure in writing a letter of introduction to you, for the bearer, Miss Laurane Porter, of this City.
Miss Porter is very active in Denver, in charitable and philanthropic work. She has been especially interested in the Boys' Club, Juvenile Improvement Association, and Juvenile Court; and for several years past has been of valuable assistance to us in such work in Denver. She is going East, with the expectation of visiting some of the Settlements, and investigating conditions generally, in the cities, with reference to the children.
Any courtesies or kindness you can show her will be greatly appreciated by me.
