Dear Miss Addams.
I have your note also the letter informing me of being made a member of the International Com. but I do not have any notice of or information about a meeting in New York on the 19th & 20th which you mention in your letter. I am sorry to [borrow] you, but would you [page 2] get your secretary to write me of it if I am expected to attend what where & when it is to be. I think I can arrange to be there if I know in a couple of days or so, very hastily as I prepare to be off for a short trip
yours affectionately
Lucy Biddle Lewis
I am considering above appointment & hope to see my way to accept.
