I have the honor to inform you of your election at a largely attended meeting of the Executive Committee of the League to Enforce Peace, held on July 27th in the rooms of the Century Association, as a Vice President of the League and to invite your kind acceptance. The organization as it exists at present and the history and purposes of the League are given in the enclosed folder. It is hoped that you will not only accept the election but give active [cooperation] in creating sentiment favorable to its proposals.
