My dear Mr. Whitlock,
We have just finished our International Peace Conference at The Hague, which has been considered very successful. Several of us from Hull House will be here until the end of the week. We are trying to make plans [page 2] in connection with which we are in need of wise counsel. We would be very glad to come to you if that were possible --
Could we meet you at one of the border towns without too great a sacrifices of your time? We are really most anxious to confer with you.
