My dear Friend
I am back from Iowa and another "lecture trip" is checked off. The strike is still the absorbing thing and it looks this morning as if the spread was inevitable.
It is awfully trying and I will confess to no little union disquiet.
Miss Lund says that your last letter reports you walking up and down stairs which sounds much better, and fills us all with [page 2] rejoicing. I miss you very much and quite look forward to next year when I am going to have a real chance at fun. The Troll's Holiday fills the House with excitement and is really coming on. My love to you, dear, and all kindly greetings to your family.
Always yours Jane Addams
