HON. SEC.
MISS JOSEPHINE MARSHALL
SALVE,
WILLIFIELD WAY,
HENDON, N.W.

July 21st 1913.

Dear Madam,

May we have your name as approving of the proposed memorial to Mr W. T. Stead, and especially of the Shilling Fund, to provide a hostel, [for] women of all nationalities, of which I enclose particulars.

Miss Kate Stevens, an intimate friend of Mr W. T. Stead's, honorary corresponding secretary of the N.E.U., and a member of our Council, is visiting America during August and is going to work for our Memorial Fund. Your name would be of the greatest service to her in this work.

Please send your answer to Miss Kate Stevens, c/o Messrs Ginn & co., 20 Beacon Street, Boston, till 10th August, and Messrs Ginn 75th Avenue, New York, till 19th August.

Yours truly,

Josephine Marshall [signed]

Hon. Sec.
