CORNELIA F. BRADFORD,
174 GRAND STREET,
JERSEY CITY,  N.J.

August 10-1912.

My dear Miss Addams,

Just a note to congratulate you and to tell you how proud we all are of you. I am so glad that in your speech you emphasized the need of the new party and that for which it must and will stand rather than over emphasized Mr. Roosevelt. I have wanted [page 2] to be a Wilsonite for President as I have been for Governor but the platform of the 3rd with the men and women supporting it also the need for such a party must control me I think. I wish now you could go with <me> up to my little bungalow among the Maine pines far from the angry crowd and rest awhile.

Yours with love and sincerity

Cornelia F. Bradford
