Dear Miss Addams:

On my return from Europe I find your circular letter of the 14th inst.

The postscript is fetching. You say that for several years I have been sending you $25.00. That is a very conclusive argument and I enclose my check accordingly.

I presume you are going to Bar Harbor soon.

I had a truly wonderful trip in Europe and found the sentiment there highly receptive to the Outlawry of War. Also, I found the people were perfectly willing to discuss the League of Nations and the actions of the countries as they are and not as they are dreaming they should be.

I trust this finds you in excellent health.

Sincerely yours,

Miss Jane Addams
