Hull House
Chicago, Illinois.
My dear Miss Addams:
I enclose an item in the WASHINGTON POST of this morning, which is very discouraging regarding Coolidge's attitude. The Chicago papers, of course, will have carried the story too, but the POST, being an administration paper so close to the White House may give a different slant.
I am glad that the Sayre Treaty is finally getting a little publicity. I have sent copies to the President and Secretary of State, and am going to sit in Borah's office today until I can see him.
You may also be interested in the clipping regarding Mrs. DuBois.
Faithfully yours,
D. D. [initialed]

Executive Secretary.
