October 13, 1925,

Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Illinois.

My dear Miss Addams,

At the time that Mrs. Watson, who is chairman of our Speakers' Bureau wrote you concerning a meeting which Franklin Menges is anxious to arrange for you in York, she wrote also to him stating that we had written you and would send him your answer as soon as we hear from you.

Today we received the following letter from him and Mrs. Watson's absence I am notifying you of it, because he is so very anxious to have you. We sincerely hope that you might see your way clear to speak for him in York, either before or after your Armistice Day meeting in New York.

Rep. Menges letter is as follows --

Sincerely,

Item Relations
