Stockholm, May 17th 1926
Miss Addams,
Your letter made me so happy. Even if you can not raise the money, I find it such a great thing, that you believe in the peace mission.
I have had a letter from Miss Blake, asking me to send some suggestions for the work of the summer school.
I have had a great pleasure in working it out. I understand more and more the near connection between the minorities and the peace mission.
I should love to go to Geneva and try to interest young people -- and old ones too -- for our plans, but I am afraid our section can not clear the economic part of the question. Please do not think, that I ask for money for my own [traveling], I feel, that if I am wanted, money will come. If not, there will be much other work for me during the summer.
I enclose a copy of my proposal, sent to Miss Blake.
I look forwards hoping to meet you and so many other dear friends in Dublin.
Yours affectionately
Matilda Widegren. [signed]
