My dear Mr. Levinson:

I thank you very much for your kind letter and the copy of the one you have written to Dr. [Faville].

Of course you know I do not resent any statement you make although this one does not seem to me to represent my point of view. Perhaps we can try once more talking it out.

Chicago climate is quite a change from that of Panama for instance, but I am altogether very happy to be back.
