Dear Miss Addams,

My best wishes for a happy and healthy new year want to be exactly fulfilled, in order to give you the possibility to continue the work for Peace in the minds of people and Freedom in their [organized] bodies and under their governments. It seems as if progress in this direction were on its way and as if war hysteria would at last be declining (in the Western world, I mean).

I fervently hope for another visit [page 2] of yours in Europe which might bring you as far East as Hungary; it would be a great comfort for us here to feel the close contact between those who struggle for a better world in different countries, may their position be humble or high.

With kindest regards for you and Miss Smith

very sincerely yours

Vilma Glücklich
