I am wiring duplicate of telegram to Miss Kittredge have requested her telegraph my telegrams and Mrs. D. E. F. Eastons night letter to you at my expense per telegraphed credential from our local Western Union manager at time I was appointed Pacific Coast chairman Mexican Relations Committee my husband was dangerously ill only now is he really getting back to normalcy then I broke. Doctors imperative orders compelled me to give up everything. Dozens of prominent men and women know just what I have suffered. Will you not help me Miss Addams? I am forwarding $50 check to you to pay for all arrears if this does not cover expenses kindly advise me at once. This matter I have in hand is supported by some of our best known women leaders who are thoroughly cognizant of my pro-Mexico efforts. May I hope to receive an early telegraphed reply at my expense.
