My dear Mr. Andrews:

I shall be glad to do what I can in the way of recalling and rewriting my speech, but I cannot do anything until I get to the coast of Maine at the end of June. If I send it sometime in August, will that be time enough?

Thanking you for giving me another chance, I am,

Faithfully yours,
Jane Addams [signed]
