Will it be possible for you to go to Washington with us next Saturday.
You know, do you not, that Mr Brush reserved your [section] in a room at The New Willard? We both hope very sincerely, with me certainly I am hoping with my whole heart, that you will decide to go.
The first awful week [illegible] [page 2] to be gotten through with and I am sure you would find your traveling companions tender and considerate. Do please come, if you can. I am going back to H.
