My dear Miss Addams!

We all have a splendid time, train life is very nice, for us older people no fatigue. Our reception in Detroit was just fine. -- 20 Autos with large Posters -- Peace. Our members there full of courage. 50 Churches asked for speakers, as you will understand that all of us had to speak out beside that we got better and rest and plenty to eat. The spirit of all of us is very good. Hertzka, Woker and Illova supply us with jokes, so you see every thing is all right. We have good news of Toronto seven or eight meeting the day. I am on best terms with Mrs Trimble, we have now quite good [manner] to introduce the different lands and delegates. The whole Peace-train sends love to you and Hull House. Best greetings of Augspurg and me to both Misses Smith. Please show them this card, they wanted to know, how the Pax Train [went on]. Faithfully [yours] [page 2]
