Hull House,
Chicago, Ills.
Dear Miss Addams: --
The Committee on program for the Convention of the National League of Women Voters to be held at Cleveland, Ohio, April 11-16, inclusive, is inviting the Presidents of the organizations represented on the Women's Joint Congressional Committee to take part in a meeting on the evening of Tuesday, April 12th, on the general subject, "[Cooperation] among Women's Organizations."
I am therefore writing in behalf of the Program Committee to say that we earnestly hope that it will be possible for you to be present and speak on that evening, and also to attend any or all other sessions of the Convention as a fraternal delegate from the Women's League of Peace and Freedom. Further details of the Convention will be sent you later.
If it is not possible for you yourself to be present, will you not appoint a representative of the League to be with us during the Convention?
Trusting, however, that you will be able to give us your own valuable help, I am
Sincerely yours,
Chairman.
