My dear Miss Addams:
The glad tidings have reached us that you are to be in California in the month of June and Business Women's Club of Sacramento wishes to extend to you a very cordial invitation to stop in this city on your way east. They are very anxious to plan a large meeting which would make it possible for the women of this city and the outlying district to hear you talk. Sacramento is on the main line east and I am very sure that a convenient arrangement could be made whereby you would not lose too much time. This community will enjoy greatly the opportunity of meeting you and will be inspired by your message. I am sure that you will find a very enthusiastic group waiting to greet you.
I have been asked to extend this invitation and I am begging of you that you may give it favorable consideration. Hoping, indeed, that you will take it under advisement, I am
Very sincerely yours,
Amy D. Steinhart [signed]
