I telephoned you twice yesterday but you were out both times. The Doctor had made such a point that Mary Smith was to be kept quiet that I did not dare suggest leaving her to come in. [page 2] I am awfully sorry not to have seen you but Miss Landsberg on Saturday will tell me of your plans.
