PENNSYLVANIA BRANCH

October 1, 1921.

My dear Miss Addams:

The Penna. Branch are very desirous of having you address a meeting in Phila with a view to enlisting interest in the coming disarmament conference in Washington.

Can you let me know if you have any time for such a purpose in the near future? We are so anxious to welcome you home and hear of your many experiences in Europe.

We are unanimous in our desire of having you represent the womanhood of America at the peace parley and have voiced it by sending a resolution to that effect to President Harding.

We know that your interests are many, but hope that you can spare a little time for us.

Yours for peace and freedom,

Laura J. Buckley. Chair [signed]
