Dear Miss Addams,

Many thanks for your telegram, and for the letter of Oct 31 with enclosures today received.

This plan suits me admirably and I shall be extremely interested to be at a meeting of our League in Wash. December 3, 4 & 5 whatever form this takes, and of course flattered if it is in any way for me. But I think twice as to whether that is best. [page 2]

Here my stock appears to be rather above than below par but this is probably because I meet mainly persons well disposed to our ideas.

Thanks for Mrs. Odells address. I suppose she acts till the Annual Meeting.

Miss Mary Dreier called me some days ago ↑Oct 24th↓ about getting womens organizations to cable messages for use in this country. I cabled [illegible] to "Willif" to try to get such [page 3] messages sent, per Miss Dreier's registered cable address [Dremari?], N.Y. When they come they ought to be available for us as well as for Miss Dreier. Shall I ask her to send copies to you? to Mrs. Odell? to anybody else?

Yours ever

E G B
