I have been ill for a week or would have earlier written my thanks for the delightful hairpins. They are exactly the size I take and I will use them all of the time. [page 2] As I remember your school opens Oct 26" so that I shall expect to see you at least for a night this week. We are planning a motor trip to Cedarville next Saturday. We, as Aunt Laura will tell you, is Mrs Bowen, Mary Smith and [page 3] myself -- as we do not arrive until Sunday morning you will probably be gone, but I hope that you will reach Chicago before we leave on Saturday morning.
