My dear Stanley

Thank you so much for your good letter and for your suggestion that we give up the last hundred of your Xmas present.

I am dividing it 50-50 which I think is quite fair, doing that only because something rather pressing has come in.

You and Myra are two fine letter writers and I thank you both and for the ranch products, but most of all for the charming picture of Jane. With all love to the family, always yours devotedly
