335 SOUTH HALSTED STREET,
My dear Alice
I hope so much that you are coming to Kansas City on Monday. I can get a night train from St Louis I think, and practically have all day in K.C. I have two or three possibilities in mind for Marcet [domiciling] in New York which we can then talk over.
I have to be [back] to a [Board] of Education meeting and [page 2] many other things so that I am planning to be in Chicago by Tuesday morning.
Do excuse this hasty letter, but I will see you so soon. With love to Marcet
always your loving sister.
