March 14th, 1919

My dear Miss Balch:

Miss Addams asks me to tell you that she is going to apply for her passport on next Tuesday, March eighteenth, and she thinks you ought not to wait too long to apply for yours; she suggests that you follow her as soon as convenient.

We are just sending out a notice to all the "thirty-five;" we delayed it somewhat hoping to hear from Dr. Jacobs, but it seems better to send out notices before Miss Addams leaves for Washington.

Very sincerely yours,

Eleanor Daggett Karsten [signed]
