HOLLAND-AMERICA LINE

My dear Myra

Here we are almost to the shore of old England. We have had a very smooth passage and are all in good spirits. I do hope all is going well with you and that you are being very careful. I have thought of you very often during the long voyage. If I am not back by June I must have a cable when Jeremiah arrives [page 2] perhaps Stanley will send one to the American Express Co Paris.

The boat is full of Y.M.C.A. men, Red Cross workers and a few civilians like ourselves -- there are thus in our party among them [Jeannette] Rankin and Florence Kelley most of us are old friends and are having a very good time together. My love to all of the happy family. Always your loving Aunt Jane Addams
