October 4th, 1917.
My dear Mrs. Buttenheim:
Miss Addams has asked me to thank you for your letter of September 29th with its suggestion of a letter from her. It is indeed a great comfort to hear from each other in these times and I hope Miss Addams will send out such a letter. In the meantime, I think the [address] published by her this spring is a very definite and wonderful message. Perhaps you would like a few additional copies of this.
Sincerely yours,
Office Secretary
Mrs. Harold S. Buttenheim
Madison, New Jersey.
