New Orleans, La., April 19th, 1917.
A member of the Washington Artillery just sent me your letter of April 13th, addressed to John R Parker, and which I beg to return herewith, as it was evidently sent to me in error.
For your information I also beg to advise that I am a staunch advocate of Universal Military Service, and as a true American shall loyally and earnestly support the President in every way in my power.
Jno. M Parker [signed]
