Bar Harbor Maine

My dear Mrs Karsten

Will you kindly answer the Cal. lady for me, you have a typewriter and also much more knowledge than I.

Miss Breckinridge's letter has just come which of course interested me enormously.

Mrs Mead evidently was bewildered between the Committees of the International Com. and that of the U.S.A.

I have really been much better [for] the last ten days [page 2] and am beginning to hope for some real work next winter.

Always devotedly yours

Jane Addams
