Brooklyn, New York.

My dear Mr. Richards:

Miss Addams has received your letter of September 28th enclosing a copy of a letter addressed to the President of the United States from the Irish Women's International League and she wishes me to express her thanks to you for this correspondence.

She assumes that you have sent a copy to the President. She would be glad to know if she is right in this assumption and in case she has made a mistake, she would be glad to forward the copy of the letter which was sent to her to President Wilson with whatever formality is necessary.

Very sincerely yours,

Office Secretary
