October 8th, 1915.
My dear Mr. Schwartz:
I want to acknowledge the receipt of your favor of September the 27th to Miss Jane Addams explaining your platform of the "Children's World Peace Movement" and [requesting] her to become one of the Honorary Vice-Presidents. Miss Addams is at present out of town, having been ill for some months, but she will return sometime during the next week, and I will gladly call the matter to her attention. If, when Mr. Cowen comes to Chicago to meet Miss Addams, he will call up the Woman's Peace Party, I will [endeavor] to make an appointment for him at that time.
Sincerely yours,
Acting Executive Secretary.
Mr. Herman J. Schwartz,
436 [Symes] Block,
Denver, Colorado.
