Foreign Office.

May 12th, 1915

Dear Madam,

Sir Edward Grey asks me to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of today.

He would be glad to receive you and Dr. Aletta Jacobs and Signora Genoni tomorrow at the Foreign Office at four o'clock, but the interview must be entirely private and of a personal nature. If you wish to present to him the Resolutions of the National Congress of Women and any observations which you desire to offer on them, he must ask that this shall be done officially and in writing [page 2]

He trusts you will excuse him not writing to you personally, but the pressure on his time is very great.

Yours truly,

Eric Drummond [signed]
