The Jane Addams Digital Edition will publish Jane Addams' correspondence and writings for the period 1901-1935

Explore the documents published thus far by subjects and search the text of the transcribed documents. To date we have  published documents from 1901-1925, but must clear repository permissions, copyright permissions, and proofread and verify our metadata and transcriptions before making documents available. As documents in those years are completed, they are being published on the site.

We have also begun adding short identifications of people, organizations, and events that appear in the texts. These are linked to the documents so that you can see all documents that mention an individual, or all indiviuals mentioned in a document.
